My Fall Picks

What are your top shopping picks for this fall? These three items are what I spent my money on this fall and will be every day staples!

ONE- REI's 650 Down Jacket 2.0 in Baked Earth- I recently became a member at REI after picking up a small pack for my Zion trip. I've had a coupon code I've been waiting to use and needed a new packable puffer. I lost my black Uniqlo puffer over a year ago and there have been many times I wanted to squeeze on that's packable into my bag. I love this 'baked earth' color that's a bit on trend at the moment, it reminds me of the red rocks and canyons in Utah I just saw last month.

TWO- Dr. Barbara Sturm's Hyaluronic Serum- Yesterday I discovered Goop's Beauty Podcast, The Beauty Closet. I listened to a couple of episodes and my favorite was with German aestetics doctor, Dr. Barbara Sturm. I've heard about her amazing products for years as they have been touted by celebrities like Jenna Dewan and Lucy Hale. She is well known for her vampire blood facials and creams, where blood is taken out of a patients arm, medically spun as to leave only the plasma and then used in the facial or cream for the patient. She talks about her anti-inflamatory lifestyle and how she thinks lasers and treatments that are trying to help the skin actually damage it more. I immediately found this product on-sale at Nordstrom and had to have it after hearing her talk about how she created it.

THREE-Urban Outfitters Remy Chelsea Boot- To be fair, I found these when Rachel Martino posted a boot lineup on her Instagram a few weeks ago. I have been ordering and returning my fair share of black boot picks for the last year as I am very picky on how a boot fits on my wide foot. I have to be able to stand and walk in them for a long time and not want to kick them off after twenty minutes. Maybe even where them at concerts when it's safe to attend those again one day. I am glad to report that these boots not only are comfortable, but I got them on-sale as well. Most boots like these are way over $100 and I purchased these for about $60 and have already worn them three times this week.

These boots were made for voting! Get out & vote!
