Honestly, before Covid19 I had started on the sweatsuit trend. If I am being even more honest, as a collegiate student-athlete, this was all I wore back in 2006. From Boise State class attire to now Covid couch potato, I rock a sweatsuit. The above picture is from our family trip to NYC last December. I wore the beige set from Old Navy dressed down on the plane and dressed up for dinner and a stroll once we got to the city. Here are my top picks for the best sweats!
This tie-dye small business just opened their first brick and mortar shop due to their high demand during the pandemic! Bachelorette Hannah Brown has been sporting a set since the beginning of quarantine, putting them on the social media map.
2. Lou & Grey
These are the sweats I have been living in during the pandemic. I have the red set and they are the coziest and softest sweats I own!
A bit on the pricier side, but celebrities like Mindy Kaling & Monica Padman have been living in these sets this year. Their tag line is "1 product purchased = 3 trees planted, protected or restored" and they claim to "use as many sustainable & recyclable elements as possible."
Not a set, just the sweatshirt, created by my wonderful friend! A gorgeous hand-made, ice-dyed sweatshirt. I have the Sherbert color and love the oversized fit.
If you google "sweatsuit" you will find almost every major brand has this item in their current collection. I recently just ordered this pair from H&M and it was the only thing I purchased during the holiday weekend sales for myself. I also have found more at J.Crew, Asos, Old Navy, Parachute, Gap, Danielle Bernstein, Summersalt, and Aritzia!
Stay warm and cozy out there!
